September Happenings...

Yes, I'm here! September 2009 and so many fabulous things have happened in my Doll House this year!
The most recent is that I met a beautiful soul, we dated, we fell in love, we never want to be apart and we married August 8th. I am so content with my life that I will not give mention to the sad things happening around us. I send those prayers to God and He knows what to do from there...
I'm making new things, and it seems that inspiration has found new venues for me to explore in my artwork. I'm making big paintings, sculpture and dolls of course, so please stay tuned. Thanks for not giving up on me and for those of you ordering sewing patterns, I appreciate the orders! I really do.
I'm seamstress in a local shop where I make clothing alterations, custom outfits and costumes, and teach sewing classes. I still offer the online classes, but the ones i teach live are different patterns all together than the online classes.... come by if you can to check them out!

Hey There, I'm just a regular Jane with four pretty kids (all teens *smile*) and married to wonderful and loving man, (yeah he's my beast *SMILE*). I'm a full time doll artist & designer, and seamstress/costumer. I create Original One Of A Kind Fanciful Faerie Figures from cloth, soft sculpture, mixed media, mosaic, paperclay. Yeah, I know, some combination there huh. I make one of a kind masks, costumes for real dolls and real people, clothing from scratch and/or alterations, dolls, teach sewing, dollmaking, & fiber arts classes, and other such things...

I love family and friends.
I love chocolate and coffee.
I love Halloween and Autumn.
I love being alone and independent.

yay, somebody thinks I'm groovy! I will be showing at the artwalk my awesomegroovycool friend... Daniel is out of state right now, working, took his sweet darling girlfriend with him, so you can imagine he is out of touch right now. He should be back sometime soon though and I do believe he will possibly show at the art walk if he has time to get some stuff finished up.

Cool. Are you showing at Sew Sassy again and maybe Daniel next door? I don't have anything new finished yet. The work I devoted my time to is all in a small, handdrawn and painted book that is for a traveling gallery show. I decided to not put the work here because it is a sensitive subject and my family would know who the work pertained to. So no, nothing new so far. I have a big, blank canvas and have an idea of what I want to do on it though.

Did you finish the doll you were working on?
