to most of the negetivity in life... at least for a while.

For now it's just SO freaking sublime to be in my own home, with my three teenaged hellions, going to work as a seamstress, coming home and getting lost in the creation process in my STUDIO. yes, it was the FIRST room to get unpacked and settled, then the kitchen and so on...

It was hell getting the house fixed up enough to move in. It was vacant for at least 5 years, and the plumbing was crap, the electricity had problems and there are bats in the chimney... Fortunately I found a fabulous electricain/plumber!

The bat's I can live with, but no plumbing.... sigh. I know my life will never be waht some consider "normal" and I love it that way. But as for now, I am liking this slow paced inhabitance. I want it to last.... know what I mean?

If i had a camera, i'd get some photos to share, but I'm waiting to get a new camera. After Bessie's NY trip, then maybe I can afford one.

And we (local artists) are making some progress on getting our asses and minds together (that creates an image doesn't it) on opening an art gallery downtown. I am very excited about it. We need more interested artists from this area to join in, so if you're in Russellville AR, or at least close to, come around the meeting on Saturday April 11th around 5pm! We welcome you!
